I worked with a local group of homeless people called Camp Take Notice as part as an engagement studio. Camp Take Notice emphasises community and taking responsibility for your own life. This approach leads to many people turning their lives around. Recently, they purchased a plot of land and have been working with the city of Ann Arbor toward becoming a tiny house city. My site plan, Juncture Village, is structured around community dynamics and community building projects. The layout accommodates the range of personalities and problems that camp members have.
