The U-Switch drawers swivel rather than run on a straight track to give the user access to the drawers regardless of the orientation of the drawers relative to the user. The swivel mechanism was derived from the Axle Sphere. Because the entire drawer is CNC-routed, parts can easily be replaced or improved.
